a. Physically Crosslinked Polyethylene Foam Tape (IXPE) It is used for heat and thermal insulation. It has good sound and noise absorption capability and good chemical, oil, acid and alkali durability.
b. Chemically Crosslinked Polyethylene Foam Tape (XLPE) It is for heat insulation & impermeability with a great conformability and adhesion to irregular or uneven surfaces. It has a high-performance adhesive system suitable when quick and aggressive tack is required. The foam is resistant to oil, petrol, solvents and many chemicals, as well as weather, ageing and fungi. It used for gasketing, sealing, baffling, cushioning and insulation.
EPDM foam tape with an acrylic adhesive on one side; is non-staining, non-corrosive and electrically non-conductive. The foam offers high temperature resistance (-30°C to 110°C) as well as excellent resistance to UV, ozone and weathering, making it ideal for outdoor use. It is used for the joints of ventilation ducts; provides impermeability on the connections. It is ideal for use of sealing purpose, vibration damping and as a noise barrier, UV and chemical solvent resistance. Any width is available for 3 mm & 5 mm thicknesses.
